This page explains simply what data we collect and why. It applies to pippopets.com, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for our customers in the EU and the UK, the GDPR. The detailed version is in our full privacy policy.

The data we collect
- For your order: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number if you provide it, items ordered and your dog's name for the patch.
- For payment: payment data is processed by our secure payment provider; we never see your full card number.
- When you write to us: the content of your messages and your email address.
- Newsletter: your email address, only if you sign up.
- Browsing: technical data and cookies (device, pages viewed), to run the website, measure its audience and, with your consent where the law requires it, show relevant ads on social networks.
Why we use it
To process and deliver your order, handle returns and customer service, send you the newsletter if you asked for it, improve the website, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers we need: Shopify (shop hosting and payments), our logistics partners and carriers to prepare and deliver your parcel, and, for advertising and audience measurement, platforms such as Pinterest, Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and TikTok. Some of these providers are located outside Switzerland and the EU; such transfers are covered by recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order data is kept for as long as the law requires for accounting purposes (generally 10 years in Switzerland). Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed, or when you ask us to.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete or transfer your data, object to its use for advertising and withdraw your consent. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Write to us at contact.pippopets@gmail.com. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the data protection authority in your country.
To opt out of your data being shared for advertising, visit the Your privacy choices page.
